This meeting has started! Follow along for public hearing related to mobile medical services (aka: HOPE van) and Dignity Health land deal.
Consent calendar items approved. Includes contract to get the Downtown Redding Specific Plan updated. This is not to be confused with transportation plan which has been in progress for more than a year.
Up next: Public hearing to consider rules for mobile medical services. It will not require a temporary use permit as had been proposed in February.
One speaker tonight: Mike Jones. I have no problem with Dignity Health being there but I don't think it's appropriate to sell portion of land that is part of Henderson Open Space. It's the one closest to Sacramento River.
Mr. Weaver, you're a businessman. That looks like (giving) a check that has not been written yet, Mike Jones says. Jones thinks that particular parcel number does not exist.
But Starman says parcel does exist. After sale goes through and portion sold, two parcels will be created.
