Anderson hosts intradistrict rival West Valley in the South County Showdown in the Game of the Week. The winner of the game will end up with a home playoff game while the loser is likely to get the No. 5 seed and travel to play Sutter in the first round of the Northern Section Division III playoffs. Anderson has the top rusher in the area Grant Kingston (1,561 yards, 24 TDs) and West Valley counters with running back Hayden Kennen (1,096 yards, 12 TDs) and senior quarterback Kody Karpinski (1,128 yards, 14 TDs, 6 INTs).
